My guide to essential work attire

I'm excited to share the news with you ladies that I have entered the world of day shift work and leaving the nigh owl lifestyle behind, which also motivates me to DRESS FOR SUCCESS!

Nude shoes with a lower heel the ones pictured are 4 inches from forever 21 and cost $27.80 LOVE THE LOOK AND THE PRICE! Nude is great because it can be paired with colors, prints and standard black and white! So i will get a lot of wear out of these beauties.

Dark colored trousers I have a navy blue pair pictured down below from forever 21 of course priced at $22.80. I could opt for a black pair but navy does something for me! I believe the navy pair will get me buy until i am ready to purchase a black pair. The trouser works well for me because of the wider bottom and will allow me to wear my low heel or boot with them without the boots looking chunky as they could with an ankle cut pant

The white and hot pink top: both from forever 21 and both are priced at $17.80 white is a staple that every girl should have in her wardrobe dress up or down for work or play. The POP of color i need to keep my sanity in the office HA! Pink does it for me but you can find the POP you need!

Last but not least the BLACK PENCIL SKIRT need i say more? KEY PIECE for business attire! Can be worn with an array of tops, tights and shoes it can almost never be done wrong!

OMG I have to rave about my new favorite lip combo!

I've been seeing everyone rave about the ever so famous MAC lipstick in girl about town, I'm not saying these products are dupes BUT baby they give me a beautiful deep pink lip with a Pop of gloss!

My skin care journey

I have been struggling with acne and it's horrible scars for years now, since about middle school!

I've been to a few different dermatologists and while their harsh medications worked...my skin didn't feel healthy. So j did some research for my self and for the past month I have been dedicated to these products:

Night Routine:
Cleanser: Biore blemish fighting ice cleanser w/ salicylic acid used with my olay Pro-X cleansing system

Tone: Witch hazel

Facial mask: I switch up between the Mario Badescu drying mask and the
Formula 10.0.6 deep down detox ultra cleansing mud mask(thats a mouth full lol)
The body shop tea tree oil face mask

Treat: Burt's Bees Maximum Strength spot treatment which is also 99.5% natural!

Moisturize: The Body Shop tea tree oil Blemish fade Night lotion

Morning routine: Much more simple!
Cleanser: Olay 2 in 1 facial cloths

Treat: Burts Bees Maximum Acne Spot Treatment

Moisturize: Olay complete All day UV moisturizer with SPF 15

Ultimate outlet let down

I had the pleasure of visiting the Philadelphia Premium Outlet Mall and I must say I was highly disappointed!!

I visited the Ralph Lauren outlet store and I was shocked to see that a 3 pack of men's v necks was on sale for $34.99! Regular price $38! Well in Macy's their retail price for the very same item is $32.50!!! Excuse me I smell a rip off!

Next I visited my favorite designers store Michael Kors!! I was in HEAVEN until I looked at all of the sale signs and realized some of the "sale" prices were $20-30 off the original price! Not in this day and age of eBay, tj maxx, Marshall's, and Ross will you retailers take off $20 and call it an outlet store!

Needless to say ladies and gents please do not waste your time, gas and money! You want to save some money this holiday season? Here's some tips:

-Shop online
-compare prices
-shop discount store ie, Tj maxx
-ask store associates about upcoming sales ie, friends and family!
-be smart and understand not everything is a deal!

Face of the day/crap products!

Hey guys it's been awhile BUT I'm back baby!!!! Lol

My face of the day came out quite lovely I must say HOWEVER these products are definitely not my favorites. I was going through my collection and decided to pull out some newly purchased items.

First CRAP item the Revlon 16 hour eye shadow quad in 535 Goddess Désse. Such a disappointment revlon rules my makeup collection but this item is not worth the $7.49 it costs. The pigmentation is ok but I found myself really packing on the shadow, it's a little streaky and extremely glittery. I'm not a fan

The Covergirl eyeenhancers are a bad product in every color, the color I wore today was in Sombra Realzadora...used it in my crease and again packing on the shadow, very streaky, full of talc and not worth my $3.99 ever!

Aahhhh and the final let down, the ever so raved about Loreal color riche Caresse lipstick retailing for $10.99 my shade of choice 180 silky java. Great color BAD formula. If these were supposed to be competition to the Revlon lipbutters then baby Loreal has some work to do! Color pay off is great, staying power not so great, it's kind of waxy and slippery and just does nothing for my full lips!

My everyday makeup essentials

I love wearing makeup and YES I wear it just about every single day! Here's my everyday essentials, what I'm loving right now.

Lips: REVLON lipbutter in rasberry pie
Face: elf primer, Bobbi brown corrector (dark bisque), Bobbi brown foundation stick (6.5 Warm almond), wet n wild blush (mellow wine), nyx bronzer (bronze embrace)
Eyes: physicians formula eyeliner and eyelash growth serum in black, maybelline falsies in very black

I believe that when you look good, you feel good! It is imperative that you express your fashion sense at work! I mean it is the place you spend 80 hours bi weekly 320 hours a month! So why not throw on a little something cute while you are out making the bacon!

Of course if you can't rock a business casual look and are confined to a uniform then honey own the hair and makeup for the work week!
