Makeup emties!
Revlon Color-stay liquid foundation was definitely a well loved foundation! Covers pretty decently and definitely can last a long time! I have pretty oily skin and I did need to blot and powder once throughout the day.
Will I repurchase?
Sadly no, I have been experiencing some hard core acne and the scarring is CRAZY I need more of a FULL-COVERAGE foundation.
I definitely recommend this for someone who needs Light to Medium coverage!

My skin care journey
As you may or may not know, I am an AVID pimp popper, skin touch bruise causing person. It's a TERRIBLE habit. I hope to walk away from this life changing experience with SEMI clear skin. I am currently typing this blog post with, dry, over exfoliated skin, 2 newly popped pimples and seriously scarred popped pimple that hurts. SHAKING MY OWN HEAD, I am a grown woman who can't resist the urge to POP A BUMP! UGH.
I am currently researching how to resist the urge of popping and what damage I've already done to my skin thus far.
I am taking you on a journey with me to STOP POPPING, start living and start caring for my face!
If you too are battling with acne and popping those pumps travel along this road to success with me!
I will keep you guys posted weekly with my new research.

Calm down!
As you may or may not know I currently work Part Time at an Aveda Experience Center which is essentially an Aveda store! I am a Beauty Advisor woo hoo!
This weekend was a special one! Me and a manager were on duty at another store in our mall offering guests FREE HAND MASSAGES AND MAKEUP TOUCH UPS. If looks could kill I will be dead 1000 times!! A few ladies did sit down with us to chat about stress levels and new makeup that Aveda has but as for the majority, death looks!
Do you have time for a relaxing hand massage today?
Ooh that's cute but no...
So this leads me to my conclusion about America and stress. People in America CHOOSE to be stressed, I'm convinced! Take the stick outta your ass chill out and unwind a little LIVE A LITTLE lol.
I just found it funny that no one was receptive to a free 1-2 mins of relaxation. We should've charged $5 then maybe they would've really stopped over lol
August/September Favorites
Mac's cosmo has been my go to color! I love the amplified formula from mac and this your lips but better shade is perfect for everyday!
The elf Blush bronzer duo in Antigua has been a staple for me! Well just the bronzer, i truly wish Elf would release this on it's own. There's a tiny bit of shimmer in the pan but I don't notice it on my skin! Perfect bronzer for brown girls!
Picked this bad boy up from www.ikatehouse.com for $1.99 La girls Pro conceal is amazing! Covers well doesn't crease and is my fave for my personal & pro kit!Ruby kisses hd setting powder in Banana...A M A Z I N G! Love it! Sets beautifully, blends out well and sets concealer for dear life! Only $5.99 at beauty supply stores!

Michael Kors Nail Lacquer Review
I couldn't WAIT to pick up a nail lacquer from the NEW Michael Kors beauty line. First off let me start off by saying Michael is one of my favorite designers, from his super high end designs to his affordable finds for frugalistas such as myself. I went into my local Macy's and saw the quaint display of 3 perfumes that all have coordinating lip sticks, glosses, bronzers and nail colors. I chose the color envy because I have an ongoing obsession with plum/berry shades.
The formula: This polish has a wonderful formula the first coat glides on. Not gooey, thick, or streaky and this polish is great for a beginner at home manicurist.
2-3 coats does you justice and a good top coat is always recommended.
Here are my nails after 4 days of wear. Now keep in mind I am a mother so i do wash dishes (with gloves), I am always cleaning, washing my baby and doing other things with my hands so 4 days was pretty good for me. The sales woman said typically those who don't do a lot of work with their hands or house work can get up to 8 days of wear.
The price: $18 USD
The verdict: Love these polishes and i personally will be picking up more, i suggest you ladies pick up a shade too!

MASCARA, MASCARA, MASCARA!!!
I really love a mascara with a wet formula and this definitely has that! The brush isa a Little weird and short but it actually did a good job of adding a little volume to my poor baby lashes. I actually prefer to use this in conjunction with other mascaras. It doesn't create any miracles on its own. All in all you can skip this item in your shopping cart
Almay get up and grow mascara. Is a really good mascara! Definitely more of a dry formula but I still reach for it! Not a lot of volume is given but the length given to my lashes pleases me! The brush is tightly packed with bristles and it
Is easy to apply mascara at the very base of my lashes. I love this and
Think it's worth giving a try!
Eh....it's okay. I wanted to love it, wet formula and a huge wand was right up my ally. However this mascara lacks performance and the wand isn't effective please SKIP this item.
Um...not sure what the hype is but this mascara is seriously OKAY. If you already have beautiful long and voluminous eye lashes I could see why this would be a favorite. The formula is okay dries pretty quickly for me, the upper lash wand is pretty slim and able to get close to the lash base but it just didn't give me ANY life! I love the lower lash wand it definitely gave my sparse lower lashes some much needed attention. I say SKIP this honestly you can use any mascara on your bottom lashes!

Product reviews!
Rimmel scandal eyes in extreme black, oh how i LOVE this wand! But it didn't give me extremely scandalous voluminous lashes. I'd say pass on this mascara and pick up my favorite Covergirl Lash blast!
The nars creamy concealer is AMAZING! I'm not sure how many times i've said that but i mean it every time! Blend-able, covers dark spots very well and lasts a decent amount of time! I usually wear this under my eyes, alone with no foundation only powder or i wear it in conjunction with foundation and i love it either way! It's a must have ladies! You can find this at sephora or nars website
The Kiss BB cream is designed for women of color but just like MOST products designed for women of color, the shades are too red! My color match wasn't the best it was slightly dark but i did notice the bb cream does cover well and is not terrible for those with oily skin, you definitely want to set this with a powder if oily. If combo to normal you may be able to skip this step. I'd recommend giving this a try it's only $7.99 and can be found at local beauty supply stores in urban areas! Until next time my lovies!!!!!

I am RI-RI CRAZIIII
Yes I was one of the millions of crazy girls waiting on mac's website TWICE at noon on two separate dates!
First order was RI RI WOO, now I didn't own ANY matte red lipsticks so I didn't care that this was RUBY WOO but a little bluer and a retro matte formula. I love RI RI WOO! It is EXTREMELY DRYING so it may not be a great everyday lipstick.
Next order RI RI BOY, I missed the HEROINE train over at MAC and have been DYING to find a good purple lippie! Now ri ri boy is a pinky purple so it isn't quite as intense as heroine but I will settle for it. Needless to say you have to be careful with these retro matte formulas. Exfoliate and moisturize before you apply these lippies and if that sounds like too much for you check the ORIGINAL SHADES that these rihanna lippies are DUPES of. RI RI BOY is a dupe for MAC's UP THE AMP which is a creamsheen and that requires little no work.
RI RI WOO has many different MAC dupes but the infamous comparison is that of RUBY WOO so all in all ladies you have options!
But i am LOVING my Rihanna shades!
