Quick review: Bobbi brown long wear even finish foundation

I am a bobbi brown cosmetics lover however this foundation was a dud, for only one reason, the lavender oil in the foundation only used for the purpose of scent. The lavender oil can cause irritation which it did for me. My skin broke out terribly! The coverage was good and the formula didn't feel caked on which makes the foundation so hard to pass up. 

I had the shade warm almond for reference.

My thoughts are this, pick up a sample of this foundation and try it out if they lavender oil doesn't cause any irritation or breakouts i'd say this foundation is for you. I have extremely oily skin and would recommend it for those with oily skin but be mindful if you have sensitive skin

BETTER LATE THAN NEVER BUT NEVER LATE IS BETTER-DRAKE

So sorry this post is coming 11 days into May but here it is!!!

First product that I am LOVING is the ELF warm bronzer which can be found on www.eyeslipsface.com , I use this bronzer as an all over bronzer and I also dust it on my cheeks after applying blush just to give myself a nice glow.

I am in love with the Covergirl Jumbo Gloss Balm's. I have 4 colors so far, unfortunately the name of the colors are on the plastic packaging that you throw away...but I love all of the pink colors. They are moisturizing and the color pay off is pretty decent. You can find these at any drugstore.

My beauty blender is amazing, I picked up a double pack during IMATS and have been loving it ever since I got it!. It's an amazing tool that helps you evenly apply for foundation and for those heavier foundations the beauty blender will help sheer them out so the product won't feel so heavy. Definitely a must have in any makeup lovers collection. You can find the beauty blender at Sephora.

Cover girl is on a roll this spring! I love the formula of the outlast stay brilliant nail gloss. First off 2-3 coats no base no top coat necessary and they dry so fast! THIS IS A MOM'S MUST HAVE NAIL POLISH! I am able to do my nails and feel confident that I don't have to sit in one spot for an hour which is impossible with a toddler! You can find these nail glosses at your local drugstores and they are expanding the color selection so go and get yourself some!

Revlon Color stay whipped foundation, perfect foundation to use with my beauty blender, great coverage, doesn't break me out and I love the color stay formula!

Last but not least the bath and body works candle in pink sangria has been making my bedroom smell like a dream, love this scent, makes me think of a tall glass of pink lemonade and I recommend this scent if you like sweet smells, this scent definitely isn't obnoxiously sweet so give it a try!!

PRODUCT REVIEW: REVLON LASH POTION BY GROW LUSCIOUS

I am such a fan of the Revlon Grow Luscious mascara and instantly when I saw the NEW lash potion I had to have it! The packaging is really what drew me in! Super cute pink purple and green coloring very different from the standard green and silver packaging of the original! Hey I'm a sucker for that kind of stuff!!!

The lash potion retails for $7.99 at most drugstores (probably cheaper at Walmart and Target). Lash Potion claims to giver SPELL-BINDING volume and length...no...seriously it says that HAHAHA.

What I found was that this is NO DIFFERENT than the regular grow luscious. I don't have very thick or long eye lashes naturally but the grow luscious and it's partner lash potion give my lashes a nice volume and length but nothing to really scream about.

The verdict; it's okay, cute packaging, definitely worth a try it you don't already own the original packaging

Product Review: Nars Sheer Glow foundation

The Nars sheer glow is a light to medium coverage foundation. My shade is Macao and the foundation feels very light and airy on the skin. I actually enjoyed this foundation However, I have extremely oily skin!

The sheer GLOW is just what is sounds like, gives you a glow but on my oily skin it made me as if I looked like a disco ball. 

I definitely recommend this foundation for someone who has dry and or normal to oily skin or if you prefer a more glowing semi dewey look. 

This foundation isn't for me but definitely was worth a try, I definitely will be picking up a sample of the Nars sheer matte foundation. 

Ps my lovelies get samples before you make a huge investment we are beauty lovers but we can be savvy about it. Until next time!!!
