CLEARANCE SHOPPING HAUL

I love a good sale! In fact it's the ONLY time i shop! 

I visited some of my favorite stores today, 

Ann Taylor Loft, Victoria's Secret and Bath & Body works! 

Coupons + Sales= an awesome shopping day! 

Spent a total of $8.48. The velvet sugar lotion was free with a coupon and that awesome delicious candle BELLINI CAFE was marked down to $8! 

At vickis i spent $19 for a PJ set, a phone case, and body butter...all items were CLEARANCE! 

Saving the best for last! I picked up some more dress slacks for work, the color isn't really showing here but they are a deep purple and i LOVE THEM! The long sleeve tee has jeweled embellishments making a basic tee so pretty and elegant! 

I also picked up a simple short sleeve tee with a bow detail and some cat eye sunnies which i have been LUSTING over! 

All items were clearance and i paid a whoping $47!

MAMA'S DAY OFF

I have to be honest, I never get a single moment to myself and....I hate that!

So today I decided to call out sick (which I am legitimately sick) and have a day to myself!

Do any of you ladies do the same? UGH

Today was filled with running errands and finishing up some much needed reading. I even stopped for a coffee and Dunkin Donuts.

First blog post of the year!

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!

Hoping all is well with you and I hope 2014 is filled with exciting adventures, goals and events for you.

Let's state the obvious, I haven't been consistent with my blog posts but as the saying goes "NEW YEAR, NEW ME"

Kicking off my first blog post with a product review.

I spotted the new Revlon display at a local CVS in my neighborhood and was instantly attracted to the new highlighting blushes! I picked up Rose Glow the other option was Peach Glow and according to other blogs that I have read there is a third option Bronze Glow.

My thoughts:
I do not love the Revlon highlighting blush at all. I own a Bobbi Brown shimmer brick and was hoping the Revlon highlighter would be a less expensive dupe, but it falls completely short.

The Revlon rose glow came off a little chalky on my skin and had a lot of glitter in it which is a no no for me when choosing a highlighter.

 

 

The Revlon highlighter retails for about $12.99 and the Bobbi Brown shimmer brick is $42

I'd have to say save some money up ladies and invest in the Bobbi Brown shimmer brick because the Revlon dupe is actually a DUD!
