Just wanted to give you a run down on the new Revlon foundation Nearly Naked and talk about where I think revlon was going with their new product opposed to their Colorstay foundations.
The revlon nearly naked comes with a white top has 1fl oz of product and the colorstay comes with a black top and also has 1fl oz of product.
The naked is a lighter consistency compared to the colorstay and colorstay whipped and it does provide a pretty good coverage for it to be NAKED.
I think that revlon is just fitting in with the rest of the cosmetics market, making a foundation that is lighter, more carefree and targeted to the girls who probably don't wear much makeup.
The nearly naked powder: hands down is the best powder that revlon has to offer, finely milled, good enough coverage and sets the oily areas without looking cakey!
My experience/thoughts:
I truly wanted to love the nearly naked i will link my tutorial from YOU TUBE because at the time I was in love with my nearly naked liquid foundation. Unfortunately I found that 400 caramel in the colorstay is not the same as 260 caramel in nearly naked, so it seems the colors run lighter and can be misleading! The coverage was medium and very build-able but for some reason it caused breakouts!!!
Final thoughts: I think the nearly naked liquid foundation is worth a try but save your receipts just in case! If you are a woman of color you may need to go up a color. The nearly naked powder is a must have!
The nearly naked liquid foundation comes in 16 shades but of course the darkest shades are hard to find in your local drugstore.
The nearly naked powder comes in 6 shades the darkest shade is DARK.
There you have it! Thanks for reading!
